At Pontiana Thalasso Hotel 5*, this commitment is reflected in the achievement of the Bioscore Level A Certificate—the highest distinction—recognising excellence in our environmental management and our dedication to a more respectful, balanced, and Mediterranean-inspired approach to tourism.
GRAVITY WAVE: FOR OUR OCEANS
At Pontiana Thalasso Hotel, we are proud to be part of this initiative alongside Magic Hotel Group and Gravity Wave, an organisation dedicated to collecting and recycling marine plastic, having already recovered more than 1,500 tonnes of waste.
Through this collaboration, we promote real actions that contribute to cleaner oceans and support a more responsible model, progressively integrating this strategy into our spaces and experiences.
We also invite our guests to take an active role in this commitment through conscious choices during their stay, such as opting for responsible housekeeping, helping to reduce resource consumption.
A commitment rooted in a deep respect for the Mediterranean that inspires us, and in the desire to preserve its beauty and life for future generations.

RAFIKY ÁFRICA: AGAINST FOOD WASTE
Magic Commitment
We actively work to reduce food waste, understanding that every gesture matters in building a more responsible model.
Through our collaboration with the NGO Rafiki Africa, we give a second life to part of the food, allocating it to child nutrition programmes. This initiative allows us to transform surplus into opportunity, directly contributing to the wellbeing of those who need it most.
